Garment Care

Each ONCE piece is made from vintage textiles and hand-embroidered fabrics that carry both time and memory.

We recommend gentle hand washing only, in order to preserve the delicate embroidery and the character of the material.

Please avoid machine washing and harsh detergents.

Before becoming part of an ONCE garment, each textile is carefully inspected and cleaned. However, due to the nature of vintage table linens, it is not always possible to remove every mark completely.

Some traces may remain. Small stains, softened by time. We see them as part of the textile’s history, quiet reminders of a life lived before.

In certain cases, more visible marks are carefully covered with small hand-embroidered details, such as delicate white flowers. A subtle way of continuing the story rather than erasing it.

After washing, we recommend letting the garment air dry on a hanger. If needed, iron gently or use steam to restore the shape, always with care.

We invite you to wear and care for your piece with the same attention with which it was made.
